SotW#18 Owl - Cleave

EDIT: Slightly changed the colour of his beak and shoes following *QueenOfCuttlefishes's advice.

Another character for 's SotW contest! I was looking very much forward to an Owl theme, because I stashed away an old doodle of an owl I had made in a Grade 11 English class and planned to use much of that. Unfortunately my fan character creation style changed a lot since then, so I was only able to use one feature, which is the embedded head spikes. I TOLD myself to stay away from red, but I couldn't help it. I wanted him to have a somewhat business attire without the suit I had designed him with in Grade 11, so instead I put cufflinks on him. And red is the colour of power in business, so that's my excuse. I'm happy with his build though. I like the fluffy spread reminiscent of a nest, and how his head sort of buries into his shoulders like real owls.

Anyway, I created Cleave to be a friend and possibly business partner of Kishal's father, who is as of yet nameless. While he and the latter are (somewhat) good-hearted, a decision they had made naively would eventually cause Dody's life to take a rough turn.

Cleave does not have any remarkable powers, but by extending the tucked-in wings on his elbow, he can fly.

Oh yeah, on another note, I'm sorry to the two commissioners who have been waiting on me (if you're reading this). I've had very limited internet these past weeks and I've been goofing off at my dad's place. I'll have them up very soon.
